Guess the Key is a free comic-book first-appearance quiz. Each round gives you a character and a choice of key issues. Pick the comic in which that character first appeared before the three-second timer expires. You begin with three lives, and one is lost after a wrong answer or a timeout.
The questions cover Marvel, DC, Image and other publishers across the Golden, Silver, Bronze, Copper and Modern Ages. A high score means recognising the issue, not estimating its value or grade. When the game ends, you can add your initials to the leaderboard and challenge another collector.
