Jason Todd first appeared in Batman #357, published by DC in 1983. That places it in the Copper Age.
Why this issue matters
Jason Todd's debut as the second Robin came in the same issue as Killer Croc, replacing Dick Grayson and eventually becoming one of the most consequential Robins in Batman's history.
Batman #357 is also the first appearance of Killer Croc, which is part of why the book carries the weight it does.
