V first appeared in Warrior #1, published by Independent in 1982. That places it in the Bronze Age.
Why this issue matters
Alan Moore and David Lloyd's V debuted in Dez Skinn's British anthology Warrior, in black and white, years before DC coloured and completed it as a ten issue series. The same issue also launched Moore's Marvelman revival, making Warrior #1 one of the most significant British comics ever published.
