Sell your comics
in Stockton-on-Tees.

Get a fair, honest valuation from Lee, a Teesside collector for whom Stockton is quite literally just up the road. Pickups here do not involve couriers or waiting on the post: I come to your door, and on at least one Stockton doorstep I have ended up stopping two hours after the deal was done, putting the world to rights about Zelda. I buy Marvel, DC, vintage and modern across Stockton and the borough.

We buy comic collections in Stockton-on-Tees

Whether you are in the town centre, Hartburn, Fairfield, Norton, Billingham, Thornaby or Ingleby Barwick, selling your comics to me works the same way and costs you nothing. Send a few photos, get an honest offer based on real current prices, and I collect in person at a time that suits.

A real Stockton pickup, and the two-hour doorstep

My favourite Stockton story is not about a five-figure key. A fella just up the road had a modest personal box, modern books, sharp covers, leaning heavily into the gaming variant scene, Venom issues alongside Mario and Zelda covers from Marvel's video game line. We did the deal, and then stood on his doorstep for two hours talking Nintendo. You can read that one here. That is what buying comics in my own back yard is like, and it is exactly how I want it: no courier ever has that conversation.

A town that has been trading for 700 years

Stockton knows a fair deal when it sees one, it has had a market charter since 1310, "a market upon every Wednesday for ever", on one of the widest high streets in England. It is also a town of firsts: John Walker invented the friction match here in 1826 and sold the first ones from his High Street shop, a bicentenary the town is celebrating right now, and the first passenger railway ran to Stockton in 1825. The comic corner of town is genuine too, with a local shop trading new releases, variants and graded books, and Teesside's comic cons ten minutes away in Middlesbrough.

Seven hundred years of market-town trading leaves a lot of collectors in its wake. If your boxes are in a loft in Hartburn or a spare room in Norton, I am the buyer who can be there this week, in person, with an honest number.

Why sell to Retro Relics Comics?

Most ways of selling comics in Stockton-on-Tees mean a shop offering a fraction of value, or a buyback site that cannot tell a key issue from a reprint. Retro Relics is different: every offer comes from live Whatnot and eBay sold data, so you get a genuine current price, not a lowball guess.

You also deal directly with Lee, a Teesside collector from just up the road, rather than a faceless buying team. In-person collection, an honest number, and if you want to talk Zelda on the doorstep afterwards, I have form.

"Amazing process from start to finish... prices he paid were better than anyone else I'd spoke to." - Damian Abel
